Resource Development

The resources for ministry with children through Grandfather Home come from many sources – largely individuals as well as churches, foundation grants, business donations, and special events. Our leaders regard donors as partners in the ministry. In the last three years we have received over 1,900 gifts each year to provide the resources for our ministry budget. The bulk of our annual revenue is comprised of funds we receive from public sources as reimbursements for services provided. Partner support provides the margin of excellence in the services we provide to children.

The work of resource development and publicity for Grandfather Home stems from the office known as the Foundation for Children. The Foundation Director, Jamie Brown, and its staff whom you find referenced below welcome any questions you have about our ministry and its support.

The following items present selected ways of giving in support of our ministry for donors to consider.

Honor/Memorial Gifts

Honor and Memorial gifts help support Grandfather Home for Children's ministry to troubled youth and their families.

A memorial gift is a way of honoring the memory of a departed loved one - a perfect way to express one's sympathy and appreciation in times of sorrow. Investing in a young life through a memorial gift is an appropriate way to remember someone and provide a lasting tribute in their memory.

Honor gifts thank the living. This expression of thoughtfulness honors friends and family on special occasions in their lives such as birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, promotions and retirement.

Honor and Memorial gifts of $1,000 or more receive special recognition in our newsletter for one year. All gifts are acknowledged promptly.

You may now make a honor or memorial gift to Grandfather Home with gifts by mail or by using your credit card.
