Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and also partners with churches of many
denominations
• Demonstrates God’s love by offering the children in our care
unconditional love and acceptance, a caring environment free of abuse,
and the treatment they need to heal from past abuse and again become
part of a family.
How your congregation can partner with Grandfather Home for Children:
• Prayer support for our children and staff
• Financial support is needed to maintain the high quality of care we
provide for our children. The generosity of strangers is a powerful
witness to the love of Christ.
• Donations of Christmas gifts, school supplies, new clothing, Emergency

• Become a Grandfather Home Ambassador!
We would like to invite your congregation to designate an interested individual or member of your mission or outreach committee to act as an ambassador for Grandfather Home for Children. The Grandfather Home Ambassadors are intended to be special friends of Grandfather Home who will act as the communication liaison to their congragation and also as an advocate for our ministry to members and leadership of their congregation. Thanksgiving Offering: Holston Presbytery

Christmas Gift Drive & Holiday Gifts
Each year Grandfather Home for Children partners with churches to provide Christmas gifts for our residential children and gift cards for our foster families. Each of the children living on our Banner Elk campus is asked to fill out a wish list. These lists are then distributed to churches or individuals who would like to help make Christmas special for a hurting child or children. Wish lists are available in early November and gifts are needed by December 16th. Gift cards help our foster families provide gifts for the children in their care. They also provide gifts for children who arrive on the Banner Elk campus after wish lists have been completed so they will not be left out of the celebration. Any gift cards not used for Christmas become a reserve to provide for emergency needs of children in our care throughout the year. Thank you.
